Yea thats pretty much it, you could see the printable offline paper wallet as a "key" to access the transaction history online so to speak.

we should all wait for the official launch and the first spike of connections to end before doing something. site will crash most likely

theres really no rush to put your coins into the offline wallet... its super highly unlikely anything will get hacked.

Thanks to vish and mrnewguy for the good advice. So, just to clarify, even if one doesn't use any further wallets, the first wallet can still be added to and spent from indefinitely. I think what people can't get their heads round is how an unchanging simple piece of paper can reflect changing balances of coins, but the answer I think is that it's the code that is on the paper that when used will access the transaction record and provide an up to date amount of coins allocated to that address/code? I'm probably not using the right terminology, but is that roughly how it works? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick completely? I think the website/app should have an idiots guide to this! yes, you are right. paperwallet can be used indefinitevly. the important thing is the code on that paperwallet, not the paper itself

Indeed, maybe "wallet" isn't the best term for it, "offline key" or something would be better, but we are where we are!

How do I view the contents of my offline wallet? I set up the miner on the US pool, and put in my address. How do I see how much I've mined? I assume it all goes to that wallet address.

Yeah, they need to have something like those little question mark things next to everything and you when click on them a little explanation pops up in a word balloon. People are going to get lost with this and give up.

This is my first time to participate with an ICO. I didn't know it wasn't ok to go ahead and download my paper wallet (I do not have an Android). I am now told that there are no coins in the wallet I downloaded because I did it before the 1st. Is it ok to go through the process again after the 1st or have I messed up?

I created an offline wallet, I enter that address into Windows miner, app says ETN address is not valid. How do I link the wallet to the blockchain?

I have created Electroneum Offline wallet successfully, started with mining yesterday and also started to receive coins into wallet. On pool stats it shows that it is paid 284 ETN to my wallet address, but there is just 57 ETN coins. It stopped receiving coins. What do I do now?!

How do you know they are going into your Offline wallet? Is there any way to view the contents of the offline paper wallet at this point? I'm using the beginners mining pool thing, but have no idea if I've "earned" anything. The mining output box, stops after a minute or two, and showing up to 34 shares, or various number of shares. I stop, and restart mining. But if there is no way of checking the contents (at this point) of the paper wallet, why continue??
