I was thinking, if this really takes off and is successful, what are the chances of copycats trying to do the same thing and "diluting the brand"? Obviously we have the advantage of being first and time to get well known before other mobile mining apps come along, and we have a good team and well supported ICO which competitors might not be so lucky with, but are there any other barriers to entry, or could there be a whole raft of Elecroneum clones? There could, but think of this (if/when it succeeds) as the Bitcoin of the copycats in terms of market cap and users. No one ever really comes close to it, other than ETH which is just a whole different story. |

I am new to all of this (just 2 days now), so please correct me if I am wrong. Electroneum will have 21b coins available. They are targeting the 2.2b smartphone users. Currently each Electroneum is valued at .01.
Part of the staff specializes in social media marketing.
Here’s my take: if they only reach 3 million of the 2.2 billion, that would equal 7,000 coins per person. At today’s current value of $.01, that is roughly $70 per person. If this is correct, I think this will be huge.
For instance I had no idea what this was. I read and boom $100 later I am in. If I have already bought more than my share then supply will be less for the other 2,999,999 people. If supply is down and demand is up, then intern the value must increase.
I believe more than 3 million will become involved. They will also want far more than $70 worth of coin.
I’m in for the long haul. If we can hit $2 per, stand back it’s going to get crazy.

Electroneum has only touched a fraction of a fraction of the people. Only 89548 registered users and already approximately 1.6 billion sold as of 0542 pst. Just passed $28 million and still two weeks to go... this is going to exceed or be at the upper end of expectations of the white paper's future plans.

People don't seem to grasp that EVERYONE will soon have a cryptocurrency on their phone. EVERYONE. Not just 4 million BTC holders.
How big is that?
It might not be technologically groundbreaking, its simplicity is the key.

You can research any new cryptocoin that is in ICO right now, and each one will have haters who post "SCAM!" Yeah, some might be, and some might be good ideas before their time, but Electroneum seems to be the right coin at the right time. I am savoring the day when all the haters post that they are all sad because they "could have gotten in on it but didn't." I will then goof on them with no mercy at all. |
