Could someone who knows about accepting crypto payments in a retail environment give me a bit of advice please?
If all the kids end up with ETN on their phones then there will be quite a lot of extra disposable income floating around! I'd like to take advantage of that by accepting payments in ETN.
Now I've heard that the dev team has developed an API for this but I don't know if it's available yet or where to find it.
So assuming I go ahead without the "official" API, how do I go about it? Presumably I stick my public wallet address on my website in the form of a QR code and people can scan that and send to it. I'm OK with that bit.
What I'm not clear on is keeping track of payments. Say I have a few orders come in and I want to check payment has been received on each one. How do I get a payment ID and view this in transaction history?
If anyone has done this with other coins, or even done it with ETN already I'd appreciate some help.
Thanks in advance!

I think this will come in a bit of time. It appears that the ETN team is hard at work trying to get ETN established. Once ETN is a common, household term and is more widely known, I'm confident that they will offer a POS/merchant system for ETN. I plan on having a business soon, and will definitely accept cryptos for payment. I hope ETN is one of them.

Thanks guys, yes I'm sure they will be trying to help retailers with some bespoke software in future, and yes I will certainly look at getting listed on electroneum scout once I've got started.
But, I want to start straight away, once the mobile miner is live.... so still need to learn out about recording and tracing transactions... if any knows?

Yeah, but people can accept payment by cryptos generally speaking? That's the whole point of them (though it gets forgotten about by people just trading the ups and downs)! If I wanted to do the same with BTC, or LTC for example...
Then there are the people who are doing it already that advertise on the electroneum scout.
