Hello. I am using the "Beginner's Pool Mining Software" I have minned a few coins because I have installed it in the first minutes. But now it's going slow (Yeah I know thats ok). I have tried to mine throught "Windows Direct Miner" but it doesn't work. I have tried write _start_mining Wallet Address [<4>] and I get this msg error: Does it worth to use or better keep with the Software? If so, how Can I fix the error?

Im using the ETn Pool Miner with the GUI. It was simple. Enter the ETN wallet address, set the pool location and the threads.
For Mining port I believe if your processor has only SSe2 then use 3333, If it has AVX and AVX2 then use the Mid and highend ports.
I started to mine with High-end (7777) but the results were terrible. Then realized As I have a Xeon 5675, I dont have the AVX technologies in my processor. So chose 3333 with 22 threads (total 24 in my CPU) and it lifted off like a soyuz.
My internet has issues, else I wouldve tried with claymore.
Will keep you posted

The speed it's the same for all the miner, unless you have some special CPU rigs

I downloaded the Direct Windows Miner, and generated a wallet address. But when I put the generated address in the miner, it kicks back saying wrong wallet format...
Any suggestions?

Hi avendora, have you made sure there are no spaces anywhere in your pasted wallet address? Since the address is generated in three lines, if you copy and paste the whole thing straight up into your miner, there might be spaces in the beginning or in between (where the breaks in the lines were)

I use xmr-stak for cpu mining only and have good results, but it all depends to wich pool you are connected, the official pools are wasted try easyhash or hashparty for better results. And don't forget to activate large page support, it helped a lot to increase hashrate!
The config.txt is self explanatory and just reading it and filling the blanks and everybody will start mining in a few minutes.

I was watching a video on it and realized that I was pressing Cntrl+V instead of Right clicking on the top of the miner and then Edit and then Paste. That solved the problem, and now I'm mining.
