I'm having an issue. I'm mining have been for a day. When I check my payments it says 0.00 pending, 0.00 paid. But my hash rate is about 480. Address I used was the public paper wallet one. What am I doing wrong?

if you get shares you are mining Well nothing says how many shares I have or not on the direct miner. How do I find out? My address always shows as 'not found' when trying to search for it. you can't see your address on a pool if you are direct mining. it measn you ar not on a pool, but mining alone on your computer. to check hashrates etc there must be a command. dont you have a command list?

When you see the Searching... button in a constant cycle, it is normally a sign that the server is overwhelmed. To be frank, Electroneum's implementation of bandwidth to its servers has been surprisingly poor. With their own knowledge of how popular the launch was going to be - and the miners with GPUs and CPU farms ready to rock - you'd have thought they would have paid top dollar/pound for sufficient bandwidth/server capacity?
I have both ICO invested and mined, and it has been, without doubt, a very rough start for ANY ICO. And I've been at the start of IPO and ICO, and its been sadly a shambles.
Watching the coins trade on Cryptopia and the value fall through the floor has been entertaining too...NOT.
I hope they give the masses their wallet addresses soon, so we can get over the next major dump. And people WILL dump, as a vast majority have sadly lost faith.
I haven't, but I can afford to be like that.
Good luck Electroneum and - next time you ICO - implement 2FA from the start, like other ICOs...
Hugs

Alright, now this is going somewhere. So if using direct mining terminal just ignore all the EU/US/ASIA pool pages as they won't be able to tell me my earnings. Ok. There is a command in the terminal to show the hashrate every few seconds 'show_hr' or you can manually check status by typing 'status' which is presumably averages. this also shows the block height (this updates frequently) - mining rate - net hash rate - version number - connections in and out - uptime. I had over 18 hours uptime on my last run before I rebooted my computer. Just started again. So whatever I mine is going to my paper wallet (which can then be moved to the digital wallet once available?), and I can't check how much is going in, but just have to trust it all works out basically?

i think that a normal pc cannot mine alone on direc mine. the difficulty is too high and you are probably mining 0.00001 ETN per day

Makes no sense to be honest. It isn't the option for the experienced miners mentioned on the downloads page. Mind you, at this point, with no wallets, no mobile app of any use and little communication from the devs I wouldn't be surprised.

I have mined all night and I am still showing a 0 balance on when checking the pool. Does it take that long?

Please reduce minimum payout so people can leave the pool and join more competitive pools like you guys really wish ...
Thanks

Thanks You are better to leave the pool now - just take note of where you mined so you can go back to get your ETN later. Use another pool and start getting ETN. Once the dust settles, go back and check the main pools and get your coins and mine a bit to get the pending if required. No point sticking around on a bad pool.

It's worrying how there is such a lack of answers to questions here. Things that should be simple you'd think for the people behind it all to resolve. My direct mining terminal says I am mining when I do a 'status' check. But I also now have the 'no two valid ElectroneumPulse dns checkpoint records were received' on screen. Am I wasting my time leaving the computer running..... Am I mining and someone else is getting the coin......What are the candies on this site all about in the forums?! So many questions. Same with me from yesterday, so what we do?? stop mining?
