Good evening,
First of all, excuse me if my questions seem stupid to you. I am a total novice in this field.
I'm having a problem with the Electroneum basic mining software.
Indeed, it remains blocked on "Starting Process" and I do not understand the reason. (I disable the antivirus etc ...).
On the other hand, I do not know how I can view the content of my offline portfolio.
I hope you will help me, thank you very much if you take the time to answer me.
Regards,
Nuitlond.

First of all, thank you for your answer.
I only tested Europe for now. I can tempt others, thanks for the idea. I stuck my address without spaces.

as for the Starting process. try uninstalling everything to do with electroneum (and removing/deleting all possible existing electroneum files) then turn all firewall and antivirus settings to OFF. Then reinstall to your main C drive. Then enter the long code for your own ETN wallet as displayed in the PDF file you can download (Not what MrNewGuy mentions that you need to copy and paste each line individually, and make sure there are no spaces).
I did this whole process TWICE and on the 2nd time it worked.
As for the wallet, it's my knowledge that the Devs haven't released this yet (not appearing on the app), and so currently it's just stored on the Electroneum Pools wallet.
Hope this helps.

I just have another question. Sorry to disturb you.
Yesterday, I wanted to test the "direct mining" with the cmd etc ... I think I created another portfire with the cmd. It does not matter, can I still use the one I received with a pdf?

What should the number of threads be please? I don't know but if I understood well , it's the number of hearts for your processor. Besides, how do I know if my CPU is low / mid / high? (My CPU : Intel Core i7 4770). Actually, i put Europe - Mid range - #4 threads. Look good ? And too : Pending Balance: 5.41 ETN Total Paid: 0.00 ETN Why i'm not paid and stay in pending balance ? Thank's in advance.

Thank you for your reply. Success ! It was hard to see but there was a space at the BEGINNING of the address ! Maybe worth noting for other people. I clicked the cursor in the address field and pasted the address BUT this time I backspaced the cursor before pasting and found the rogue space. Seems to be mining now but I don't know what the information means....?? hash rate 31.02 h/s ......31 total shares.....what does this mean ? I am using a low spec laptop. What happens when I stop the mining , does the software retain what it has done/mined ? I did have to put a file exclusion for the software in my Avast anti-virus. Thanks for your help.
