hey im in canada and am using hydramine and the beginners window set up i can get bioth to connect and ive generated my code and am using that.
the hydramine works as far as i can tell but then im not sure how to check what/if any coins ive generated (i know about the uspool to check but it says no info with my code)
the beginners windows one starts up and lets me input my computer info and i select usa and it starts off saying that im connected but then the hashrate screen is blank and it says that ive started mining, yet no progress shows
ive checked miner pool with both but it just keeps saying no info. do i need to generate a new code? security settings? any help would be greatly appreciated

Try the windows miner or one of the options from electroneum.hashparty.io/#getting_started. Do not use the us, eu or asia pools. Find a user pool like hashparty (there are others, search around but hashparty is paying), you will be much better off. And to answer your edited Post title, no - country has nothing at all to do with it....

ill check out this other pool and see if that helps. Cheers. Use the cryptonote miner from the hashparty page and see how you go. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Sounds like your anti-virus or windows defender is deleting the minerd.exe as a virus/malware. You will need to set up an exclusion for it and then try installing again.
