1. There should be a method in the email for doing it via the website that does not involve clicking a link. You should be able to type my.electroneum.com/ directly into your browser and initiate it from there. Or use the app on your phone - that would probably be the safest method. Wait until you get the email before doing it though.

2. Amazon issued the SSL cert for electroneum.com. It should be fine. If it is not on the main site at the moment, it should be once things are under control.
