As the difficulty increases, the ability to solo mine, or mine in small pools will be harder everyday. A good implementation was to put 4% fees to increase competition but the minimum payout was set too high! 100 ETN is way to much for mobile or single PCs for those who want to reach that goal! Again, with the increase in people and difficulty, what was achievable in 1 day will soon take 1 month to mine 1 ETN....
Please reduce minimum payout so people can leave the nest of official pools and find better and more competitive pools like you wished for? Make sense no?
Thanks!

Why are you still using those pools? Get your ETN into your wallet faster and with 2% or less in a user pool. Go to electroneum.hashparty.io/#getting_started and see - there is a thread here with screenshots of payouts.

I want to join it, but I don't want to leave an unpaid balance until I reach 100!!! I've bookmarked the page already!

Yeah I gave up 11 ETN on the official pool and made 18 new on hashparty pool. But these 11 were ao fast as it was Wednesday, I'm upset to lose them.

they will probably reduce the payouts when they have fixed all the security issues

You will not lose them. Once the main pools are stable, they will probably reduce the payouts and you can put a laptop on to mine up to the payout figure and then leave for good.
Your pending balance is still in the blockchain - for the main pools just leave for now and go back once the systems are stable.
I say this with 76ETN in asiapool at the moment and no movement, but have over 150 from hashparty in the last days or so. Will go back to asiapool once it is all sorted and get my ETN.

Hi! I downloaded the cryptonote easy miner ... but it creates a new paper wallet? is there any way I can use the paper wallet I already created insteaD? I don't remember which miner it is but usually if its a UI you have a wallet field and if its a command line you precise the target wallet like "start_mining wo29sn4hello8esjw92js9o1ka0 5"

Ok, let's say I use the wallet generated here then in easy miner ... I joined the pool ... electroneum.hashparty.io ...used port 5555 and used 2 threads for testing ... stratum authentication failed

Hi! I downloaded the cryptonote easy miner ... but it creates a new paper wallet? is there any way I can use the paper wallet I already created insteaD? For that miner, just shut the miner down if it is running, open the file wallet.address.txt inside the folder you have the CryptoNoteMiner.exe inside, replace the generated address with your wallet address, save and then restart the miner. Put in the correct pool and port and off you go.

Does the miner require the full address or short address? (i.e. 'stratum+tcp://electroneum.hashparty.io:5555' or just 'electroneum.hashparty.io:5555').

Isn't it one field for protocol like stratum+tcp and another field for the url and another one for port? Maybe share some screenshots (while masking private information)

Yes a screenshot would be good - just of the miner and the error would be start.
Personally in the last few days I have tried about 8 different miners on 3 different OS's. They all seem to blur together.
