Hi All. I just got an AntRouter R1-LTC for my birthday, and I'd like to point it toward ETN. However, didn't the devs say that ETN is "ASIC proof"? I'm still fairly new to a lot of aspect of mining, so is it just the official pools that will block ASIC miners, therefore letting me use the machine on an independent pool, or is it the coin itself that won't allow ASIC mining. Would it matter that the R1 only mines slightly faster than a good computer? TIA

There are currently no CryptoNote ASIC miners available on the market that I am aware of - it is fairly ASIC resistant. Am sure it will be news if they develop one.
Use that for BTC or another SHA256 crypto for now.
