With Bitcoin falling, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is seeing massive gains as people dump their money there. If ETN had been live and trading properly, I think we could have picked up some of those gains. Now, we're viewed as the non-starters. And ETN continues to fall. Anyone else feeling frustrated....

I think this is a good thing for two reasons. First, you have another chance to buy more! It may never be this low again, and once the wallets are opened up, it will likely begin to rise as more people have access to Electroneum. Second, this is one of those coins that you need to HODL. This was never going to be one of those get rich quick coins and patience is key. The market is an ever-changing beast, and there will be plenty of other opportunities for Electroneum to capitalize on. We got the exposure in the first week, and people know the potential. The dev team has a solid plan to bring us to the top of the cryptocurrency world.
HODL! HODL! HODL!

this is nothing, if we think about a 2-3 years goal.

Bitcoin is a bit of a political "I used the poopie word" show right now if all the talk is true. 80% of the mining is now controlled by a handful of farming companies and there's a bit of infighting on the future of the blockchain. The split is really a temporary fix since one of the reasons for it is to speed up transactions because right now gas is at a premium. Bitcoin is a long-term asset like stocks, it's not a currency like paper money because the transfers of bitcoin is slow and expensive to exchange. That's fine if you are buying a car, but go and buy a coke and the payment will take 15 minutes and cost more than the coke.
This is where ETN can excel because the larger number of coins and faster transaction rate operate more like your debit card, but being new people are skeptical it's not going to go tits up. People like is are hoping to get in early, mine or buy, then pack that "I used the poopie word" away and forget about it for 2 or 3 years and hope it goes up to $1 at least lol. Lots of new blockchain are being released, some on existing algorithms and other new ones. Makes the market a little over saturated in some ways.
Technology is grand is it not? I have my first gpu miner in parts on my living room table for the most part. Nodding a 4u rackmount server case as I said for the other half lol.

Yeah, but in the meantime, those of us who put money in to invest in the ICO, but now we don't have the money or the setup for good mining rigs. Where are we? are sitting feeling frustrated and pretty left out as the miners are making money. If they do it like this then better put my money for a new computer not for buying ICO. Nagalit ako

well, you knew you hadn't a mining rig before entering the crypto market. So what's the problem if you are not mining now?

Nagalit ako Hi there, I can understand why you might be feeling frustrated but we have to look at this as a long-term thing and not react to the current ups and downs. ETN is my first time getting into crypto too and what I have learned since all of this is we have to be ready to ride with the volatility in the crypto market. Look at Bitcoin - dropping over a $1000 USD over the weekend and now jumping back up again. While you wait, why don't you try mining with what gear you have? I am mining on a laptop using the electroneum.hashparty.io pool and am happy with it. I'm getting regular pay outs, and I feel like I am doing something, not just waiting for access to my wallet. Another thing I've started doing to feel like I'm 'moving forwards' is play for free Bitcoins. You get to roll for free bitcoins once every hour. I got enough bitcoins through this to be able to buy small amounts of ETN on Cryptopia. If you are interested you can Sign up here or follow the link in my signature. Sure the amounts I'm mining and earning in Bitcoin are really small each time... but over time they add up. And I think, more importantly, I don't feel like I'm just sitting there waiting for something to happen while the expert tech people and experienced miners are already making money from ETN. Hope that helps a bit, and best of luck!
