Newb from the UK needs advice

Hi folks, I'm very very new to the whole crypto currency world.  I've only just managed to start buying Bitcoin and now I've spent a little time looking into alt coins I've discovered ETC and the company behind it.

Long story short I'm very interested in them and can't wait to invest.  But, I don't have their wallet and can't get one (I assume) until the security work is done and the site re opens.

My other major problem is a total lack of photo ID at the moment, my passport is out of date and I only have the old style driving licence!!  A real pain in the Crypto world.

So a few questions folks, is there any way I can setup a wallet and buy into ETC at the moment?  Also, will I be able to buy via an exchange without photo ID?

Any help and advice appreciated.

you can buy Electroneum on cryptopia ( here my ref link to register: CLICK HERE TO REGISTER on cryptopia) NO ID REQUIRED !

you send your bitcoins to cryptopia ( balalnce -> Bitcoins -> Deposit -> send BTC to the given address ).
You then place a buying order for ETN using BTC. ** BE SURE YOU ARE SETTING THE RIGHT PRICE ** i've seen people messing up and buyin 2 electroneums for 600€
You can then leave your ETN on cryptopia until you get your wallet (proobably in 3 weeks, when they are done upgrading electroneum cyber security)

althought THERE is a way to get your wallet, but unless you are really good with computers, it is better to avoid it. (windows solo mining softwares for electroneum lets you create and manage wallets, but you have a DOS interface)

EDIT number 2: I am not a financial adviser, but i will say here what I would do if i wanted to buy ETN right now. I would buy 35% of my funds of ETN now, and i will wait 3 weeks, when ETN android APP and wallet manager software are released, to buy the other 65%, because price COULD drop a lot (maybe to 1 cent) from people having access to their ICO-bought coins (a lot of people will start selling and price could dip quite a lot). Just my opinion.

Yeah, that Cryptopia was super easy to register on, almost seems too easy.
