I have two Vega 56 cards and they work great! In my research, they along with the Vega 64 cards (the 56 is cheaper and uses less power) are the top dogs for mining coins in the Monero blockchain family. I am getting around 1800 to 1900 H/s per card. I was lucky to get them when NewEgg had them on sale for $400, and before I could get another set they were back up over $600. However, if you do the math, you should be able to recover the investment in a few months at today's ETN prices. Assuming they go up, you will end up ahead.

right now i think the nvidia 1070 is the best card with the best hashpower/watt ratio

THANK YOU BOTH! Mrnewguy whats your average Hashrate with you nvidia 1070??? they seem available and reasonably priced. On another note, when i make my purchase ill be adding it to my existing tower which currently has a geforce gt 430 hashing at about 80 to 100 H/s, do i have to do anything special in the Config file for the XMR miner to recognize and utilize the new card? Also is it going to be a problem using 2 diffrent cards in the same machine?

what about using 2 Geforce Gt430's made by different manufacturers?

2 gtx 1070 PNY and EVGA 600H/s each
