you cant check it so to speak, as in look inside to see how much is in there. With these paper wallets you literally have to flush its contence to another wallet all in one go. That means all of the etn in the paper wallet will be moved to whatever wallet you send it to. This way you can ditch that paper wallet, seens the view/spend address has been exposed to the internet (which makes it unsecure), and create a new paper wallet in its place. Then from the online wallet you flushed all the etn to... you can send however many coins over to the new paper wallet for long term super safe storage. So in short... you cant just look inside a paper wallet like you can a online wallet.

So does that mean if you were mining into a paper wallet 'public address' all your mining was going absolutely nowhere? or does it still get sent to that address regardless? On a completely different note, have you used this online wallet before? github.com/electroneum/electroneum/releases (official wallet i assume) I set it up and mined into the address i created however the balance says 0 when i check it. Everything is synced and i've mined a few hundred coins according to the pool info. Is this an issue because the ETN guys are still working on the project? Should i expect the coins to arrive when the system comes back online after all the tests.

The pool sent coins to the correct address. It's only 14 ETN, so I can live with it but there's no point mining until I know I am going to receive my coins. Hope someone can tell us how we can get our coins.
