1) Share mined result to social media (create curiosity/awareness)
2) Electroneum coin flip (just for fun)
3) Fund ‘pull’ request in addition to typical ‘push’ orders. Good for merchants, customer just have to approve the pulled transaction request.
4) Send Electroneum fund with SMS/link with app download invite to someone who does not have the app yet.
5) instant messaging within the app, so that users don’t have to toggle between apps when trying to communicate and send ETN

Take on Bitcoin at their own game with a ETN ATM where you can get money for your coins direct from the machine... Google Bitcoin ATM Australia if you don't have them yet and click images.....

Will it be possible to have a currency converter in the app? People will still largely be thinking in pounds and pence or dollars and cents, if they can look at their phones and it says they have x number of ETN and alongside is that same amount shown in the currency of their choice, they will know at a glance how much money they have to spend in a "real world" situation.
So then, if two people are chatting and one says to the other "I want to buy that pizza from you, how much?" and the answer is £2, quick glance at phone shows they have £3 worth of ETN at current conversion rate, they can afford the pizza and the transaction quickly completed from one phone to the other.
Makes it so much easier than if they have to work out what their ETN is worth compared to the value of an item which was most likely purchased with fiat and has a known value stated in £/$ or whatever and an unknown ETN value.
In a more formal buying and selling situation, say I have a market stall and my item has a price sticker in the local currency (probably will not have a price displayed in ETN unless huge mass adoption) and the buyer asks if he can pay in ETN and I agree, then the buyer could type in the price in £/$ in the app and it converts to ETN before he presses "send money".
Possible? Desirable?
For online selling it would be easier to display prices in fiat currency or in ETN so no problem there, but for greater acceptance and penetration in "real world" face to face transactions it would make it seem more like "real money" that people are used to and not so much like some abstract thing that they have to do calculations with before they can spend it.
