Hello everybody. I have read FAQ and some other posts but I still have some questions.
Please be gentle if I ask stupid questions .


1) What is the difference between offline wallet and Electroneum Wallet Manager ?

1.1) Offline wallet has private key, private spend key... the wallet from Electroneum web page has only public key. Is the WebPage wallet inferior to the offline wallet ? If so, why ?



2) At eupool.electroneum.com/ (for Europe) I can type my wallet address to see my Pending balance. I see for example when it last updated that a have somewhere around 200 coins.

2.1) What is pending balance ? Is that the amount I own ETN ?

2.2) My pending balance did`t update for more than 24h, is that normal ?


3) At my.electroneum.com/ , wallet manager, when I try to import from my offline wallet I get "The offline wallet had no funds.". Did anyone had this problem? Does this mean I don`t have my coins in my offline wallet ?

4) Will I be able to spend, sell or buy ETN with this new wallet I have got when I registered on www.electroneum.com ?

5) I am mining for more than 12 hours with Hash Rate: 1.17 KH/sec on my new wallet, is it possible that I haven`t mined even 0.1 ETN ? My ballance is still 0.

I will try answer based on what I know.


1.1) It is not inferior, just that offline wallet is safer because people cannot simply hack into your account and transfer your funds as long as you keep your private use and spending safe. In addition, you cannot recover offline wallet but you are able to recover online wallet if you forget your password etc in the future.

2.1)Pending balance is the amount you accumulated from mining that has not reached minimum threshold.
2.2) It depends on a few factors. Firstly, ETN coins will only be distributed after a block has been found and matured. If no blocks are found during these 24 hours, it will not be updated. Secondly, it could be due to website issue. However, it shouldn't be a problem as long as your miner is running nicely.

4)You can only sell or buy using an account in cryptopia, by transferring BTC or ETN to cryptopia account.
5)Refer to point 2.2. You might want to consider switching pool as some suggests If problem persist.

for number 1 i can tell you that one of the main difference is that with the web wallet you do not really own your coins, since you do not know the private key! Offline wallet is like putting your gold coins underground in a safe in your backyard lol
