I need some help and advice with this particular subject due to my lack of knowledge with regards to Offline & Online Wallets. It is my understanding that on 1st November the Electroneum Tokens purchased during the ICO will need to be transferred to an Offline Wallet and then to an Online Wallet of an Exchange that lists Electroneum. Although there will be a guide to show how to do this, I have a few questions to help get my head around this whole process. - Will the Offline wallet be provided by Electroneum?
- Can the tokens be left on the Electroneum Dash Board until Electroneum is listed on an exchange and then once listed on an exchange transfer the tokens/coins directly to an exchange.
- Is the Offline wallet a paper wallet?
- If the Offline wallet is a paper wallet can the address be used instead of scanning the barcode?
- How is this done if you don't have a smart phone?
I would like to hear how anyone else will be doing this, what programs they will be using, even if someone could be so kind to show a step by step example.
Any comments, advice and help in regards to this topic would be greatly appreciated in preparation for 1st November.

Yeh, I got the same questions. How will the offline wallet work? I think I have a fair idea of it, but best thing is just to learn through experience, I'm sure it will seem very easy once we know how!

I agree I am sure it's not a difficult process, to be honest it would be good if there was a video tutorial on how to do this. I know there are a few on youtube but does that same process apply to Electroneum?

Will the Offline wallet be provided by Electroneum? - Yes. Can the tokens be left on the Electroneum Dash Board until Electroneum is listed on an exchange and then once listed on an exchange transfer the tokens/coins directly to an exchange. - Yes, you can also transfer it to the offline wallet for maximum security. Is the Offline wallet a paper wallet? - Yes If the Offline wallet is a paper wallet can the address be used instead of scanning the barcode? - Yes. How is this done if you don't have a smart phone? - Use your computer to type in the address

One last question. Can the tokens/coins be transferred if you don't have the app. The app is not compatible with my phone as I don't have a smart phone. From reading the answers above it sound like there are really 2 options. One follow the guide that will be provided and transfer the tokens/coins to a paper wallet that will be provided by Electroneum or Two leave the tokens/coins on the dashboard until Electroneum is listed on an exchange and then transfer them to the online wallet that whichever exchange provides.
Basically I don't have the app or a smart phone and use my PC for everything. Again I am just trying to be prepared as much as possible as I don't want to make any errors due to not understanding the correct processes.

Or you can leave it on your dashboard, but that is NOT recommended. I am not sure about sending it from the Dashboard without the app, please write them here and get your answer: electroneum.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

I have created a paper offline wallet whilst not connected to the internet. How do I now transfer my coins in to this wallet?

they are working on it. it was delayed because of the hacker attack. we need the mobile app to releasae first. then we will be able to manage wallets
