I think I will hold them "for life". I mean that even if the coin reaches 1000€ I will only sell small amount to get some € in my bank account but I would want to have a big ETN account to actually buy things. Long story short: I plan on USING my coins, not sell them.(I hope there will be stores accepting ETN Ahah)

I think I'm about the same, it's mainly an investment for me because I think they will go up (don't mind if it takes a while) but I also like the idea of using them, mining a few more to replace what I've spent etc....
I can't see myself dumping them on an exchange any time soon, unless I'm really desperate for cash. After all this excitement and buying into the idea behind it, I'd be sorry to let them go.
I could possibly see myself buying more on an exchange, say if I did really well on another coin and reinvested some profits into some more ETN.

Or I suppose one could dump them all and buy back an even bigger amount lower down, if one could be totally confident of the dump and the size of the fall. I know we've discussed it before and think it will happen but how much and how long for. With uncertainty of being able to judge market tops and bottoms, it may be better for long term holders to just not be greedy and sit back, much less stressful.

Oh yes, we could do that, but i'm not a speculator nor a wall street trader. I'm just liked ETN. I'm one of those "average guy" ETN is targeted to, so i don't think i will do trading to make money buying, selling, buying againg etc..lol

I am no day-trader type of person. The bad phrase no one likes to hear or discuss is "short term tax". So hypothetically, if ETN really took off and skyrocketed, I don't want to be subjected to short term taxes for cashing out. What small amount i have invested in the ICO will stay. I need to educate myself more on strategies of withdrawl if something were to grow to a crazy value.
Regardless, my intent is to buy more once the coin goes live AND I'm seeing good news in terms of progress from the business team. I am a believer in cryptocurrency today. Years ago, I thought cryptocurrency was just play junk. But I did not understand blockchain back then either.
Today, when it comes to investing, the average joe cannot grow his money investing in the stock market, or even finding a good bank CD or other investment vehicle for good returns. I mean, back in 1980, you could put your paycheck into a money market account at your local savings bank that returned as high as 18% yearly. Today, the stock market is topped out and at best I think you can find a 2% CD at some banks across the country. The central banks have taken away the incentive for the average joe to save money. I believe blockchain and cryptos offer real hope and offer a new frontier of investing AND decentralized income. At the root of it all is blockchain technology. Blockchain technology is what's creating this new exciting frontier not only with cryptocurrency, but business applications as well. Blockchain technology has the potential to create a paradigm shift and literally wipe out some industries.

I don't have a lot of ETN (compared to others) so waiting is likely the most reasonable financial path. I do think and hope that ETN catches on and becomes the next widely-used crypto in the world. In that case, I am one of those who can say that he was invested when ETN was $0.01 (less with the bonus) from the deck of my yacht. I would love to use ETN exclusively, to be beyond the tracking of transactions by banks or governments. Based on the turnout for ETN, and those who did not get in on time (before the $40M Cap) I think there will be people waiting to buy ETN on November 1st. Yeah there will be those who will cash-out, but I think they will be more than outnumbered and outbought by those wishing to get in. THAT is where the value will increase! I plan on buying more. If there is a slump in the price, I will buy lots more. I'm in it for the long haul.

Very tough call. Personally my plan was to dump part of my investment at 10 cents and up and then buy back at the dips so I can make even more gains without spending actual $ as well as getting a quick buck (which I need atm). That being said it's impossible to predict exactly how far the pump will go and how big the crash will be. Dump too soon and you might miss out, wait too long and you remain a bagholder until ETN rebounds. Mass adoption could change everything.
