guys i saw this on another forum. have you tried this? i figured out that my laptop CPU is not capable of AES and thus it can't mine ETN at all, unless i plug in an external GPU on my laptop. (got damn it i should have bought a desktop, it would have been much easier to put a GPU in it!). 1.Open the Electroneum beginners miner folder 2.Then you see next folder:"cpuminer-multi-Wolf-aes" AES means that your cpu MUST support AES(Advanced Encryption Settings) instructions. 3.Google your CPU model and check if it has AES instructions support. If it supports, then you need to google how to turn AES on (check your CPU model here, go to ark.intel.com/ , then choose processors , find your CPU mode, then on the left side click on advanced technologies, then under security and reliability, see if AES New Instructions is tagged yes ).4.If your CPU DOES NOT suport AES instructions, you need to download GPU miner(e.x. CCminer). Your CPU cant mine this crypto-currency. but, to save you the hassle of checking your CPU, i figured out from the website that of all the legacy intel chipsets out there (before 4th gen), only i7-980X Processor Extreme Edition and above are compatible with it. so if you have a laptop lower than it (though an i3-4330 and above will work since it's 4th gen, so please check it still just to be sure), forget mining (or just get an external GPU for it if you want to). if you have a desktop running lower than i7-980x PE , then switch to GPU mining. is there any 32xbit miner for my electroneum miner? im using windows 10 32xbit pc. any help here pls... How much effort are you willing to put in? If you are really keen, then have a look at github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-cpu/blob/master/WINCOMPILE.md. Using that, you will be able to make a miner that suits your system - as long as your system can install the prerequisites. Otherwise you will have to keep looking or wait until someone else makes one that suits.

Remember that 90% it is not your fault but it s the pool being overwhelmed. Switch to other user ran pools like hashparty

BEst thing to do right now is to use another user-created pool

Don't turn off Anti Virus. I also have Avast and it works fine for European Pool. Go to Options and create an Exception. Use the Path where you installed Electroneum Pool Miner. Do you have more specific instructions on how to do it? Thanks. I've added the electroneum file path to exceptions and uninstalled and reinstalled Electroneum mining Pool V1.1 for windows and while its now not saying starting process when you press start mining it looks like its about to work but then it doesn't do anything. Shows no hash rate or anything else other than wallet address, Pool region, mining port and number of threads.

Try a different miner. That miner may have a problem with your processor or anything.
Use the one in my sig, try minekitten.io, xmr-stak-cpu - anything to see if you can get one of them to work.

Plenty of solutions here But the easiest is go download minergate Under their downloads choose 32bit if that's your os otherwise use the 64bit installer. Enable the other pools tab Enter the pool and wallet you want to use and away you will be. All in two ticks. There miner works on all hardware. I've tested on from a p4 all the way to a new i5. Don't bother too much with ancient hardware a new i5 will do 10x faster than a core2duo kind of vibe. In those cases rather buy a graphics card.
